One of my favorite anime's and one of my all time favorite songs! This song is so fitting for this anime! It's also nostalgic to me. This song is from Disney's "Tarzan" and that was the very first Disney movie my parents ever took me to see in theaters. (That's if it wasn't the first movie I ever saw in theaters, either way its the first one I remember seeing in theaters.) The bond between Daikchi and Rin, it fits this song so well, I can't believe I never thought of it before. Anyway brilliant choice in song and an amazing AMV!

Michael Hartman It might reassure you to know the Anime scriptwriter made sure to foreshadow with clues that he is considered to be her new guardian by her and his family, because everyone remarks on how he looks like his Grandpa at times which seems to slot him into the parent role logically. The final shots of her walking with him hand in hand imply a father-daughter bond, just an unconventional one because neither of her guardians were traditional father figures.

I have 3 kids and on the day they were born I would sing this to them as the first thing they would hear. Their mom (all my kids are by one woman) would smile as I sang this to our children because I grew up without a dad. But everyone who has seen me with them sees the love that I have for them when hold them and smile at them. Children change you and you don't realize it till someone tells you.

@@paraluman3405 SPOILERS!!! if I remember right there's a time skip to where Rin (the little girl) is an adult and she ends up falling in love with Daikichi (who is the man) and they do get married. I know it made people feel weird due to the fact that he basically raised her and was her father figure from about the age of 7. They pushed a familial/paternal role between them but it's ruined by this revelation But the anime completely left that part out. so It's best to stick to that. Don't let the manga ending ruin the anime because the anime is good :)

SPOILER ALERT!!! After I read the end of the manga the whole thing kind of ending up disturbing me. Rin ending up falling in love with her guardian. I thought it was going to be a Dad/Daughter thing all throughout the manga but it just got really weird in the end. Eh, it was still good though. I enjoyed it.
