Very cool Dan! I love that it's the original horse. I'm actually surprised they haven't done this more. I know this Usagi has more paint... but I kind of want to see the Silver Helmet on the Brown figure.

Cool review! I have been debating on which Samurai Usagi to get, now it's settled. This is the one! Honestly I could've done without the horse, and I doubt I'll display it. That Usagi is great though, love the helmet!

I just got this piece today, and super stoked to get it...but I wonder did anyone notice on the packaging that the pic of uasgi on the horse shows the handles of his swords to be blue??...They should've have went that paint on the handles instead of just the solid gray molded plastic color

There's another one as well, I saw Stan Sakai make a post about it on the Usagi official forum. He said what was planned was gonna be released in a window box package in October or November and would include a bow/arrow as an accessory. It'll be available on his website stansakai.com and is called the "sakai signature edition"

The Usagi books are great. Can be low key at times, but there is plenty of slicing and dicing. I have the first 22 volumes.
