Not a coincidence. If you believe that the world needed an athlete like Usain in a time when the sport and the world is so tense and other athletes are willing to win at all costs, and are unfriendly and self absorbed then you will understand that it's not a coincidence and his mission is bigger than him. Only the great architect could put all of this together. How can an athlete be known by name in countries that don't speak his language and their children pretend to be like him? And any time he steps into a finals, the world stands still, first to watch, then to celebrate. This is bigger than him and only God could write Usains script and put it in action.

Wow. Considering how confident Bolt is today regarding his sprinting ability, I am amazed to hear that at a young age he wasn't really interested in sprinting and even doubted himself. It was his family who pushed him to believe in himself. So he really has his family to thank for his success.

The legend of Usain Bolt and his immortality stems from a combination of raw unadulterated talent, hard work, discipline, his ability to enjoy what he is doing, his capacity to take everyone along for the ride, and his uncanny ability to connect with others, to be empathetic, to inspire even his opponents to run faster. He's indeed the epitome of charisma and enigma. This is what has set him apart. His speed is matched, or perhaps surpassed only by his humility, graciousness and relatability.
