@@marccouasnon6973 It hit less targets than the Leopard 2A5 in the Greek trials.
@marccouasnon697318 күн бұрын
@@jonny2954 No, it's quite the opposite, the Leopard 2 is in fact a big myth: look at how it performs in Turkey, it's not unbelievable (there's a reason they're trying to develop their own tanks). The tank is, contrary to what many believe, quite fragile. Sure, it's got a lot of armor on the front, but it's very easy to destroy it by shooting the turret from the side, and the tank will do what Russian tanks are doing now: it'll explode. The Leopard 2 is a kind of Abrams, but less effective and more economical, which is a definite advantage. The Leclerc tank has proven to be excellent in every way. It uses automatic reloading, so there's no need for a magazine, which is a huge advantage, especially when you have small armies like France. These shells are in an armored box, so even if you fire into them, the tank won't explode. The 120mm Giat-120-CN-26 is the world's most accurate cannon, capable of firing at 60km/h on a target at 40km/h. The Abrams is the second most accurate tank, capable of firing at 40km/h on a target at 15km/h. The Leclerc has full obtronics, with Thales radars considered the best. It's a fast tank by comparison, thanks to its 58-ton weight, and more interesting still is its hyperbaric engine, so it reaches top speed very quickly. The Leclerc's armor will withstand any shell before 2010, and those are really good.
@maxgreen852014 күн бұрын
The Leclerc is a POS. We make fun of it. The tank has zero combat experience. Would not even put that tank in my Top 10. American Tanker here.

They'll only get info from the ones we used in Desert Storm, they didn't get the newer or newest ones we've had, nor with the extra armor. That's what took so long to get them there, we had to get the 'ODSSA' ones out and remove any extra armor that might've been added, incase this happened. ODSSA = Operation Desert Storm Situational Awareness (the SA part was added so they wouldn't accidentally shoot friendlies, which happened in 1991.
