I was able to hit the 11six24 vapor power for a couple games and didn’t think the power/pop was close to a mod. Felt more Paddletek level to me, maybe a touch more. It’s clearly in the “power” paddle category, but it felt like it was on the lower end of that category when compared to a Mod, ripple, PPE

Joola just needs an order number or receipt from an authorized retailer or rep and you can register a Mod or 3S on the Joola owner’s site off the NFC chip. Extends the warranty from 6 months to 1 year too. The cutoff for the 50% off the new Pro 4 for current Mod TA owners is Nov 1st. I got mine on Oct 7th so I’m just going to play with it til it breaks. Speaking of, do either of you know how Joola will honor warranties for the Mod now and/or once remaining stock runs out?

Black Ace has a lot of power. When Megan Dizon started playing with it the announcer’s kept commenting on the paddles power. That said, no reason to ban it. Paddles have surpassed it in power. However, crazy to say it is below average power. Anyone who has ever hit with it knows it is a canon!

Downside to living where the weather is perfect year round, getting a nice indoor facility is not going to happen. I heard the Dawsons sold PROKENEX. The name is still used with the new line.

I have played with a Mod Ta-15. We all know it is going to be banned. That being said i bought the Spartus Olympus and that thing in my eyes feels as powerful as the Mod. Am i exaggerating? Do you think the Spartus Olympus will ever make the banned list?

I don’t see it getting banned anytime soon and it isn’t as powerful as the mod but when you connect with that sweet spot the power is very nice

You mentioned that the Black is not a power paddle and I agree, but remember this is a deflection test not a power test. I know there are some overlapping things that relate to both but not an exact measurement of power.

I am looking at what they want to achieve with the test. I believe the goal is to stop the game from getting too fast so I do understand the pop being too high can lead to that being an issue.
