Very good naman siya. I'd like to test it some more but because of the ban on 5.56mm ammo, this has become impossible. I also need two police escorts to go to a firing range with a 5.56mm semi auto rifle. Their rules.

Ang alam ko lifted na un ban for 5.56 as I write this comment. Question lng po, planning kc ako to buy S5. Civillian ako. Ano type need ko? Kailangan ba ng type 3 sportshooter or pede na un type1/type2? Thank you!

The ban is now lifted but bureacracy needs to take its course and gun stores are still waiting for the official written memo lifting the ban, from the PNP-FEO. Until then, you can not get the semi-auto rifles you purchase. I know because I asked a gun store just 5 hours ago as of this post.

Dual citizenship gets you all the gun privileges here in the Philippines. That's gonna be your next step if plano mo tumira dito sa Philippines and then get some firearms.

Contemplating putting on hold my dream build, an AR15 na sopmod block 1 for this just to support local. Pero maxdefense had some "not nice" facts to say about it years ago. MilSpec na kaya current Gen?

UDMC is your best bet for a fully-customizable AR. They make very good rifles and you can specify the barrel length and operating system. MaxDefense did a PR demolition job on UDMC before and I would know because his claims were radically very different from my experience. Besides, how would MaxDefense know for sure? He has never personally owned a UDMC rifle and he allegedly lives in Australia, which is a VERY anti-gun country. So how can a person living in an anti-gun country properly understand a UDMC rifle, which he is not allowed to own there? Second hand accounts are not always credible. If UDMC rifles were bad, I'd tell you about it naman because they didn't pay me anything, but they are good, so I recommend supporting their company, which is a Filipino company.

@@philippinericochetline814 Not defending MaxDefense but I've never seen him in an anti-gun light rather he's pro modern weaponry but yeah good point he most probably doesn't own one for him to make a valid review. Yeah the local warranty and retrofitting service is very alluring talaga for UDMC products. The price is a one time problem but the cost is another thing. I guess PVAR it is. Thank you Sir!

@@Shades_Actual You can't go wrong with a PVAR. Years from now, when parts begin to wear out from your heavy use (if you train a lot) or you want upgrades installed to your rifle for free, by UDMC, you'll be thankful you went with them. Not something you'll appreciate right away, pero it's a benefit that foreign-made rifles don't have. Also, with UDMC, you can specify the barrel length and barrel profile of your rifle. You can't do that with other imported rifles.

@@Shades_Actual Thank you! I'll check out that authentication error. And UDMC also has the S7 (DGIS or PVAR Operating Systems) DMR in 7.62mm. If you really like a DMR, you might want to go 7.62mm. UDMC also allows you to choose your barrel length and barrel profile. So that's helpful.

You can get a LTOPF sa PNP-FEO One Stop Shop sa Camp Crame. Pero pang Metro Manila applicable yan kasi malayo na if from the province.

Yes, I've heard these different systems din. Maybe someday someone can do a stress test of all of them. Wala lang budget dito sa Pilipinas and halos wala tayong mabiling bala ng 5.56mm dahil sa permanently temporary ban.
