I really appreciate this video, actually all your videos not just this one. Unfortunately, my experience didn't go as smoothly. I submitted my application roughly three weeks ago, but the deadline came and went without any response. I reached out via Viber and was reassured that the date could be adjusted and was advised to be patient. However, after four days of silence, I followed up only to be ignored. Today, I attempted to call directly and was informed that my request had been approved. They asked if I preferred to pick it up at the office, but when I inquired about the online process, I received no reply. When I tried to call again, my call was canceled. I'm extremely disappointed because I was eagerly anticipating my visit to the range. There are plenty of ways to automate this system and generate a PTT specifically for range purposes, while still maintaining a review and waiting period for other aspects. I truly hope they make improvements in this regard.

I am sorry to hear that. Nakakahiya nga naman yang nangyari na yan for them. Unfortunately, until the new PNP-FEO system site goes online, I don't think they will have the PTTFA system fully automated. It's just sadly very good in its current state.

Share ko lang - sa OP number for payment, di na ko tumawag sa EEMD, nilagay ko lang PTT. Tapos nag-follow-up na lang ako sa viber nila pagkasubmit ko ng form. Nagreply naman agad, tapos sa viber na rin nila ako tinanong ng date. Mas mabilis, di ko na rin kinailangan tumawag or tawagan nila. Mukang flexible naman sila sa process. Props to PNP.

Sir, thanks for this update. Though you said that you rate this as 7 out of 10 as you compared this with the previous system where you need to visit the feo station, I would say, since we are going digital, there is really a big room for improvement on this. It should be easier if all they will ask for fewer information as follows, LTOPF ID, date of transport, address of origin & destination, the FR # of the firearms that will be transported and the payment can be online via bank transfer/gcash/credit or debit card (last recourse is via physical transaction with landbank) and would immediately be verified upon payment and immediately release/send the digital PTT copy to your preferred address no need for a signed copy but a qr code to signify approval by feo. I think with this, it will make things very easy for most of the people. FEO need good sytems manager not only good IT personnel. Hope the final system will be this way or much much better than the pilot system.

Yes, I wish for that as well. The current digital process is actually not fully automated as it can still take 1 or 2 weeks to get a PTTFA, as it requires manual approval. This is VERY slow, because given that they already have all of our information, this process should only take a few minutes. Why do they even need to have someone check the application or the firearm when the fact of the matter is, all firearms were processed by the PNP-FEO, so they should already know that through database and hence approve the application immediately.

Sadly, the only way that doesn't involve the surrender or sale of the firearm is to go back here for renewal before the 5-year or 10-year license is up. Otherwise, you have to sell it or transfer it to another owner with an LTOPF so that owner can "hold on" to it legally for you until you return.

also i tried looking up the limits of the PTCFOR, i remember reading either a reddit or quora comment where someone said that you were required to carry the firearm in a bag off of your person, but i dont know if that is true or not.

This is true. The PNP changed the rules. Even with a PTCFOR, you cannot carry it sticking to your body. It has to be in a bag. I think this rule is poorly though out, pero it has to be followed until better rules are put in place by the PNP-FEO.

Parang hindi. May limitation kasi yung number of dates as this can be a loophole used to get a PTTFA with the effect of the PTCFOR without the high fees.

Nung bago ako pasok sa new system ng FEO, nag try ako mag apply ng PTT. Tinanggap sya kasi nanghingi sa akin ng request letter daw na dapat i-upload ko sa site. Kaya lang hindi ko na itinuloy kasi nakuha ko na yung PTC ko later. Nung nagkaroon ako ng new FA, nag try uli ako mag apply sa new site ng FEO, this time ayaw na. Sayang, pwede na dati, then na disable later yung feature.

The proper way to do it ay kukuha ka muna ng PTTFA to buy ammo for your gun. Pero mas okay kung itanong mo na lang sa gun store. Some do not require PTTFA, kelangan lang ng FA Registration at LTOPF.

So far halos ganun a pa rin. I think bumili ng konti yung pagkuha ng PTT online and may hotline na sila, pero may mga issues pa rin according to some gun owners. Yung ibang application matagal pa rin.

After I watch this video I try to apply for PTTFA but my experience is negative. After complying and submitting all the requirements and paying, after a week I received a call that they will only approve the caliber 45 and 9mm, the 5.56 is still not allowed. And then 2 days before the day I will take out the FA's still no email, text or call received. So I try to contact the nos. who called me and the one I called for the OP no. but no one answers. I try calling them until the day I will take the FA's to the range still no one answers. So my trip to the range was cancelled.

Yung PTCFOR, yan yung kelangan mo pag gusto mag conceal carry ng firearm mo outside your residence. PTCFOR allows you to use your firearm for self defense laban sa isang deadly threat, sa labas ng bahay mo. Good for two years ang PTCFOR. Yung PTTFA is a temporary, on-time use PTCFOR, it is good for one day, usually, and pang transport lang yan, so hindi mo puwede gamitin yung firearm in transit.

Honestly, go for .22LR rifle or pistol. I can't say the price here, pero half lang budget mo yun. Matutuwa ka sa mura ng bala. A Rossi .22LR rifle from Trust Trade or a Taurus TX22 will be a very good start. I don't quickly recommend 9mm or .45ACP or Shotgun for your first firearm kasi fundamentals are harder to practice with those calibers dahil mas mahal ang bala.

They will check that sa system nila. If such things are not asked, that is because they can see it from their end. Hindi rin kasi maganda na ilalagay mo pa yun sa form kasi additional liability yan pag nahack yung system ng Online PTT.

Good question! Ideally, hindi. Kasi yung PTTFA at PTCFOR ay magkaiba ng intent. PTTFA is for transport, pero PTCFOR is for transport and possible use outside the house. So malamang, hindi papayagan na gamitin ito pag PTTFA lang.

Yes. Just state the purpose and destination. If may questions naman si EEMD, tatawagan ka nila respectfully to make sure that they make the correct PTTFA for you.

Sir, ask lang if need pa ba gawin to with airsoft guns. Pagkakaalala ko kasi is considered lng sya real firearm pag ginawa sa crime under the RA yet sa circular ng PNP eh need iregister parin.

Airsoft guns are considered legal guns if used in a crime. Pero yung registration niya is only a one-time fee of 200 pesos. It's not the several thousand pesos needed for a proper firearm.

This is a good question. The answer is complicated. Kelangan mo ng PTT and you need to fly in a plane that will allow a gun to be carried in the hold. Some Airlines do not allow this, kaya when buying a ticket, you need to inform them in advance that you will be depositing a gun along with your transport.

was that your actual PTT certificate? I wonder why no. 7 states that that certificate is valid for one-way only. You've mentioned earlier in this vid that in your case, you applied for two-way PTT.

Yes, the PTTFA is valid for one-way only. Kaya kelangan mo mag apply twice. Sablay siya in that aspect. Bakit hindi nalang pagisahin yun diba? It's not like the firearm is always brand new, where one-way is applicable when traveling from the gun store to your house.

Puwede po sir with a PTT, however, I recommend asking the booked airline in advance if papayag sila to transport the firearm. Meron kasi mga airlines na anti-gun sa policies and will not allow the transport of such. It could complicate you travel. pero marami din naman na airlines na okay lang.

I don't recall of such an option. Sa bayaran mo gagwin yun. It's an issue of the new system. Sasabihin naman yan sa iyo pag tinawagan ka ng PNP-FEO representative.

So much bureaucracy... So annoying.. May ltopf ka na mag practice shooting ka lang to train need pa ng PTT... Dapat i ammend nalang nila na at least 10km you can bring your FA papunta ng gun range... This would boost gun economy/ranges and allow fpr training... Or better yet you can schedule with a legit gun range, for a small fee ofc tapos online sila database with FEO para no need to apply for it... Schedule schedule nalang per day ang bayad...

This would promote gun range membership, training tapos ma expedite pa yung process kasi schedule schedule nalang with gun range, as for checking naman ng police natin online lang din may reference number and they can check online to see if scheduled ka talaga to bring your gun to the range. No need to over complicate a simple and trivial thing such as PTT application gahd.

If the website doesn't work anymore, as it seems for so many people, then you ahev to go to the nearest PNP-FEO office to get the PTTFA manually. It is very inconvenient, but this is the only remaining way for some.

Good question. Gusto ko yan. Pag meron ka nang PTCFOR, hindi mo na talaga kelangan ng PTTFA for that specific firearm, however, kelangan mo pa rin ng PTTFA for certain situations. For example, if gusto mo bumili ng bala ng walang PTCFOR. Kelangan ng PTTFA. PTTFA also applies to guns na gusto mo ilabas pero hindi puwedeng kunan ng PTCFOR, like shotguns and PCCs.

Yes, 3 firearms for 400 yung PTTFA. Walang kinalaman yung quantity of firearms sa PTTFA. Kahit isa lang yan, 400 pa rin.
