Amazing rendition! Right up there with Voctave's version with the song writer as the soloist. THIS soloist had some of the purest vowel sounds I've ever heard. Just fantastic with spot on pitch and fantastic breath support. Excellent arrangement...loved the interplay between the solo instruments (piano, flute, 1st chair violin) and the orchestra. Same fantastic weaving of individual focus and group dynamics that the soloist and the choir achieved. Well done! Thanks for a great addition to my KZbin playlist!!

@@stephaniesherva8085 anyone can learn to sing and improve their unique talent with an excellent vocal coach! In my many years of teaching, I only had 2 students who were truly tone deaf…. Most folks do not know/understand vocal technique and their voices…. the relationship to what they are hearing and trying to sing. God gave us voices to sing and speak with👏🏻👏🏻👏🏻

Ok, here it is 6 months after I heard this the first time. It is still beautiful she is still remarkable and I still need tissues. Yesterday as I listened to this song, I had a little mini revelation. When I heard the line that went "Mary did you know when you kissed your baby boy that you kissed the face of God." And I thought, how beautiful, our pure & holy God, who even the angels around the throne cover their faces because of His holiness, through Christ got to experience for the first time, the feel of a mother's love for her child & the kiss of that mother on His cheek. What a precious moment for Him to experience. I love that, isn't it gorgeous. I never thought of it before in this way, but God got to experience so many things that human beings, His children, go through because of Christ. Good & bad, but how precious that His first touch was of a mother holding her newborn son and kissing His face. It brings tears to my eyes.
