Wherever the Chaplain goes, you go. Meaning that if he’s needed along the front, you”re providing security for him.

You can always ask, but the needs of the Army come first. That said, most chaplains are Christian (Given that most religious people in the US are christian) so there's a good chance you'll be with one.

Chaplains are also mostly "Non Denominational" Military or Civilian. They have to "Roll with what they got" but most are "Christian" and being so they would do a general non Denomination Christian.. but if a Muslim Solider approaches they would try to Assist that soldier or provide to him as best they could like coming to terms. I done some "Chaplain" \Assistant work after I got out the military as Civilian and with Gideons. Don't do that now though.. "We" would try not to offend, but help anyone as best we could. If there were Muslim without a Koran and I was asked, then i was obligated to "attempt" to locate a Koran for them, to help them reach their need.. but I had some issues with being restricted on what I could do or say, so I stepped away from it. And it was hard for me to see people be fake about God, and I couldn't speak out (like with the Muslim) about Jesus. So there is Some "Give an Take" one has to deal with at times in the Role of a Chaplin.. and as an Assistant..

@@ayay9564 Not much you can study for before AIT; however, I would say make sure you stay awake during class, take notes, and study! Class was my favorite, I loved it, and it truly wasn’t that hard. Just keep good PT and make sure you try your best and study for the tests.
