Commentator at 0:10 Ding Song chopped with short pips quite a while before Hou Yingchao

yes. i think dingsong was the one starting the modern defensive style..Hou was not doing well when he was in national team mainly because of the changes of TT equipment and changes from 21 points to 11 points..in fact back in early 2000 all choppers did not do well. then in recent years, the new changes in TT equipment and rules give chopper opportunity to revive..

Yingchao made too many errors near the end of games 5, 6 and 7. Wang Wei showed more patience when it really mattered.

Interesting that they decided to play the point again at 6-6 in the last game since it's actually not allowed. One thing you get to learn when educating yourself to an umpire is that a point is NEVER changed or repeted, no matter what has happened in the game. Which isn't right in the real world obviosly. I've done it severel times when all parties where unsure. I think this rule is old outdated and should be deleted. Furthermore I really think that modent technic as videoreplay should be used as in other sports, for example tennis is using "hawkeye", and "target camera" in soccer.

Same history here as in Hou's earlier match... the same referee and the same complaint. I think we have discovered a "serve fascist" here. One who is a referee more for himself, rather than for the sport.

Hou YingChao choked so hard

They should ban touching the table near the net. A. It's annoying B. Puts sweat onto table. C. It's obsessive compulsive.

侯英超常常打了臭球就看看球拍,好像是球拍犯错不是自己犯错,很多球友都这样,这是非常差劲的做法。

2 choppers played with each other. I can not see the beauty of Table tennis in this match.

Trieu Van Sy Lol crying kid who cannot beat chopper right here

choppers are those who couldn't master the footwork required to play offensively.
@teddanville69967 жыл бұрын
Gamma Ray Burst how would choppers chop if they couldn't master their foot work. If you do watch, do know that if 2 choppers face one another, the server is forced to attack, or else he would lose the point.

no loop (fh and bh) is not a world class table tennis match.after serving pang, pang only. there is no ball line curving over the table and then coming down with high speed, spinny ball. that is the reasson why i said i can not see the beauty of table tennis.
@teddanville69967 жыл бұрын
Trieu Van Sy hahahaha, you noob. To counter backspin, you need to use the combination of loop and smash, since if you use loop the ball will ended up too slow, if you use smash, the ball will most likely hit the net. Even Ma Long plays like this,and you should know, looping is very vulnerable to strong smash which will ended up with you losing the point.

They maybe good, but for this match they are just regular beginners.
