Hirano probably did not practice enough against defenders. He seemed to be struggling about whether to hit slow looping balls or hitting harder balls.

Hou does a really good job of mixing up and placing his balls in the short game, Hirano seemed really confused

Here we go again, one of these umpires that consider that their participation is as important as the players, if not more. The serve he rejects at 1-2 in second set isn't particulary wrong. The referee does this just to demonstrate his power. Some of them behaves just like that... maybe they've had a crappy childhood or something, or perhaps a failed career as a player.....

Agree with you ! Beside how the umpire can see Hou's serve from that angle !

I think the call itself was actually totally resonable. However, the reasoning was just wrong. The serve wasnt faulty cuz of his throw but cuz of the fact that he didnt remove his free arm. I was really suprised when the umpire showed the "not vertical ball toss" motion...

Gordon Kaye is a joke. Would be much better of with just having Matt commentating alone.

quelle décadence; et ça gueule comme un possédé quand on fait un point, arrogance envers l'adversaire; mimiques de dépit quand on est victime d'un point de chance... ça devient comme le foot
