Zahid allowed Dake to capitalize on his mistakes. You can't make mistakes against Dake - he will make you pay the price! Awesome wrestling from both men!

what is the move that dake pulls off at 6:35? when i find myself in his position its often hard to fight off a shot that deep.
@ray.n_l4 жыл бұрын
Crotch lift. However, you have to put Dake's strength into consideration here.
@ericsperformanceparts16474 жыл бұрын
1:45 That shot had both legs trapped. How did Dake reverse that? Looks like a BJJ Guillotine on the chest, with both arms in?
@aydendonall8364 жыл бұрын
As far as I can tell, dake used pretty much brute force to lift zahid and bounce him off the mat, which gave him enough space to get his legs out and into a sprawl.

Dake is probably the best in the world in that position, never seen someone so strong from grounded.

Hate defense as the solitary strategy . . . Rule Change: Defensive take downs only score 1 point lol . . . That'd be a game changer . . .

Yeah I can't stand the way Dake wrestles. Zahid will beat him in a few years. Guys like Dake, Molinerro, and J'Den are why this sport will never be a spectator sport outside of us hardcore fans who are mostly former wrestlers IMO. They need drastic rule changes to favor guys like Taylor, Burroughs, Valencia, etc., guys who produce real offense. Mark Hall is the next snoozefest at the next level for sure, he's exciting to watch until he's matched against the top level guys and its all defense and match management.

it’s funny how these two dumbasses above think defending takedowns is easy, especially against such wrestler as Zahid

J F THATS WRESTLING!!! If you don’t like great defense leading to great offense then you aren’t a true fan. Great defense is highly appreciative ESPECIALLY when it leads to offense

@@ws8061 I was there mat side three rows from the mat and it was anything but a snoozefest. May not look like it on screen, but these guys were moving fast. Everything they did was blink of an eye fast, if you did blink you certainly missed it, like the ankle pic Zahid executed in the the second match. I didn't know what happened because U looked off into the crowd for just a quick second to see your next snoozefest Mark Hall. And for "the way Dake wrestles" He wrestles smart, and knows when to turn it on and when to let the other guy set himself up. Dude is good regardless of how sleepy it might make you. He certainly did a fine job putting everyone to sleep at the World Championships by winning every match by tech-fall. Im sure that was quite a boring defensive effort

Dake is a great wrestler, but no one likes watching a match where the winner is the person that takes one or two shots.

It’s because dake only shoots when he sees the opportunity to score, that’s what your supposed to do in wrestling, wait for an opening to score.
