Informative video, but what I loved most of all was the forest background noise.

Thank you friend, but I now have a problem, after resetting factory settings it is no longer detecting 9 volt ! only stuck at 5 =(
@Adrian-lr5xq3 жыл бұрын
That's because he has done this wrong, Your not meant to factory reset unless your using a 5v exact wall adaptor to calibrate it properly.

@@Adrian-lr5xq ooo got it so I gotta reset it using. 5V Wall Charger?
@Adrian-lr5xq3 жыл бұрын
@@sapphireblue88 Yeah, It doesn't have to be a wall charger even a 5v powerbank will do but it's probably best with a 5v phone charger as they may be more accurate with 5v output, It says in my leaflet about it.

You need to unplug any load the try reset without any load plugged

Thanks for the video on how to reset. After I inadvertently connect the iPad (15V) as a load and reset the tester, the tester only outputs 5V. Oops! I tried resetting the tester with a charger or powerbank with a 5V output as recommended. However, some chargers and powerbanks I have had the tester not powered on unless the load was connected. Hmm.. Finally, I was able to reset the tester without connecting a load using an old-fashioned 5V output powerbank and a USB-A to USB-C cable. It has a 5V micro-USB input and a 5V USB-A output port. Now, voltages above 5V are also displayed normally. However, even after the reset, the long-standing problem with this tester, which was my reset purpose, was not resolved. The problem is that this tester doesn't normally display more than 65W of wattage. I would like to share a little information about this tester. Voltage and Current values are displayed normally, but wattage above 65W is not displayed correctly. If you are trying to test a charger or power bank that supports more than 65W output, this tester can disappoint you. The user may need a calculator to find out the watts. Voltage × Current = Power (Watts) If Power value exceeds 65W, the wattage display is initialized, and the display starts from 1W again. For example, 68W->3W, 83W->18W. I bought several of these testers in 2019 to test chargers, powerbanks and cables that support 100W output. Test your testers to make sure they don't have the same problem as me. The problem may have been fixed since I bought it. I have dozens of USB testers. Some of those testers are quite incompatible with some chargers and powerbanks. They don't show anything on the screen. Currently, the most reliable USB tester is “Power-Z” product. The USB-C tester is “KM001C”. The price is 40-50 USD, which is quite expensive for a USB tester for non-professional users. Model “KM001” is a product with a USB-A plug. It also has USB-C ports.
