Thank you this is exciting! The feature im waiting for is to select the channels that ducking can affect, also program the ducking to a certain channel, for example if an audio is played from channel 3 it will duck down the volume coming out of channel 2, (In my stream, gifts play sounds, and i want the gift sounds to turn the music down from my dj decks automatically so i dont have to keep manually doing it.

Thanks for keeping me up to date on the new updates! I have a Rodecaster duo and have a bad habit of never checking for updates.

I love that Rode has competition in this space now, it’s making them drive forward. You can also use the wireless Rode mic now too, so that’s another mic.

True. About wireless mics: they are indeed „another“ mic that you can use, but it‘s not an „additional“ mic as it occupies one of the existing mic inputs - that‘s why I think that the USB mic compatibility is even more important, as it actually adds one more mic input option.

Can you now use a USB mic plus headset for the host and two lav mics with the Rode wireless Pro?
@domTT9 ай бұрын
so the limitation is that other USB mic that is not made by RODE does not work. I wonder if Mackie DLZ will have that soon.

When you plug headphones into the usb mic are you hearing everything from the caster as well? If so that is very clever and technically you have a 3rd or even 4th headphone if you are on the duo with nth-100m plugged in

Oooooh yeah! I'll now be able to connect my Video Mic NTG as a backup - or have it anywhere else in the room when I'm doing my workshops and don't want to have a lav mic on me... Sweet job Røde!

Good content, your video looks laggy.

Thanks for the feedback, I‘ll look into it.

Heh, just saw a text error at 1:57. UBS instead of USB for the NT-USB mini. I’m wondering if the stutter/lag that’s visible is from an over-cranked shutter speed? I’ve now purchased both a RODECaster Pro II and a Duo for my podcasting and streaming work.
@PodcastMeister Жыл бұрын
Hi, thanks! The lag was because of framerate settings in one of the cameras - sorry for this.
@foglebr Жыл бұрын
That too would cause issues. 😅 Isn’t it fun how easily it is to accidentally change settings. 🙃

I see that Rode recommends using mic monitoring directly from the microphone. Can you still hear all effects and other channels when monitoring this way? It seems like you're not plugged into the VideoMic GO II with your headphones, did you monitor from RØDECaster? Is there a delay?
