They’re all so similar, it cracks me up. 99% of bowlers couldn’t see a difference if all the balls were black. They spend $1000’s on minute changes when they can’t throw the ball same way twice That is marketing - and bowling / golf just live off of this “gotta have the new bigger ball”

Next year, I will be bringing just 3 balls: sanded Asym, NIB Sym, and urethane. There was so much oil, I ended up throwing basically up the middle with less than 5 boards of hook.

Not surprisingly you’re right on with what to expect condition wise and for each day. With Team event being snappier this year I threw an overseas red vibe which is harder than the US ones and it had a great smoother shape. For D/S my best look from both out and inside was my harsh reality which helped control the lane while also picking up. Same type of shot as your Gem or big piece you’re bringing. Good luck

Went to Vegas in March, we had lots of oil. Right handers loved it, we had front 9 game 2 first day. Lefty’s were dying. Couldn’t move the oil. Inside/outside didn’t much matter. Didn’t have the right ball for the conditions. Next year!

Had to use my Hyper Venom all of Teams. Still had to take hand out it. I wish I had a Ruby or another weak pearl with me. Doubles and Singles was all Purple and Pitch Black.

Good luck! Team was really tough. Singles and doubles were much better. Ball of choice for team was Harsh Reality and Hazmat believe it or not. Singles and doubles was Hazmat and Tour Dynam X.

I always think the Venom Shock should be in any sport shot or tourney. I also really like the new Artic Vibe for a weaker ball. I will be heading there in July. Taking the Hammer Effect. Motiv Evoke. Venom Shock. Black Widow 3.0. Artic Vibe. Sublime. Motiv Yellowjacket. Motiv Venom spare ball.

I don't have the widest arsenal, but I've got a Gem, Black Widow 2.0 Hybrid, Black Widow 3.0, Hammer Effect, and a Columbia 300 Cuda PowerCOR Solid. It'll be my first time going to Nationals, so not entirely sure what to expect, but I'm excited about it!

Love yr channel band advice. I'm a older bowler with a low Rev rate. I'm also going to Vegas for the fun of it. I'm taking the Hammer purple urethane; summit, summit peak and my favorite ball - DNA coil. I will also bring a plastic spare ball. Any thoughts on my arsenal given that I only bowl house shot and not a pro pattern. Given my low Rev rate and speed, if I were to add one more ball, any suggestions. Thanks and best of luck.

Just focus on making spares and keeping the ball in play. Bowling balls are secondary

So, my thing is you throw a lot of different balls from different manufacturers. Which is fine obviously. However, some bowlers throw the brand they love. So I get this video I do but I only throw motiv because I have low ball speed and low revs so I need the bigger core from Motiv. I know you have access to many balls from every manufacturer. For content it would be so cool if you made a video per manufacturer that you would take to nationals.
