@@FJT-c2b Nothing has been disproven. The tens of thousands of students who applied to UT Austin by the UT Austin Early Action deadline were guaranteed an admissions decision by January 15 and fewer than 5,000 of them along with some who applied by the December 1 Regular Decision got accepted on January 15, nobody got rejected on January 15, and all of the rest of the tens of thousands of Early Action applicants were told they have to wait a month (when all the other Regular Decision applicants get their decisions) to get their decisions. That's not a mass deferral; that's a debacle.
