I want to transfer to USC so bad I’m praying I get in!! Did u get good financial aid? I’m worried about that
@mimi-cm9qw4 жыл бұрын
USC gives out a lot of financial aid so you shouldn't worry too much about it :)

I have a question, I currently go to a credit deficiency high school (I get to graduate with 130 credits) , if I wanna transfer my sophomore year would I be able to despite my high school transcript?
@sydneyolay49633 жыл бұрын
Hi Seiko! From my understanding I don't think it should matter if you have less high school credit because USC will look at your college transcript for course credit. Make sure you take at least 15 semester units during your fall semester freshman year. I also suggest contacting your respective USC counselor. You can find them via this link: admission.usc.edu/find-your-counselor/. I hope this helps!

Did you have any AP test scores that you used going into Cal Poly Pomona? If so, how did that work going into USC? Do you know how it would work if Cal Poly Pomona were to accept an AP score but USC would not?
@sydneyolay49634 жыл бұрын
Hi Alexander! I was able to get credit for my AP test scores at USC but they didn't satisfy any requirements as they weren't equivalent to any classes I had to take. At CPP, they accept AP scores of 3 and above and at USC, they accept scores of 4 and above (for the most part). So that means you would still have to take classes to satisfy the specific requirement if USC doesn't accept your AP test scores. Hopefully this makes sense, please let me know if you need me to clarify!

Hey! I’m applying to usc a sophomore transfer this year. Is it more difficult to transfer as a sophomore than a junior? I’ll be transferring with around 36 units (40 units including my AP score)! My HS stats weren’t bad, 3.85 weighted, 3.69 uw. I also asked my admission counselor if I need to send my sat and he said no! My sat was an oof 1250 superscore 💀😂. Also what extra curriculars would you recommend while we’re in corona season! Thanks 👍

Hi, do you know if it's hard for sophomore transfers to get on-campus housing? I really want to live on-campus, but I'm not sure if I would get on-campus housing. Do you have any tips or ideas on what I should do to get on-campus housing? Thank you so much!

Should I go to a CC or Cal Poly Pomona if I want to transfer to USC early?
@sydneyolay49633 жыл бұрын
Hi Cameron, if your ultimate goal is to go to USC, I would suggest going to a CC because USC prioritizes CC transfers. If you decide to go to CPP, the chances would be a little less since you would be transferring from a 4-year university. But, if you want to go to CPP to see if you like the school and would potentially want to stay there for all 4 years, then I would suggest going to CPP!

Hey, I needed some advice on whether I should apply to transfer from my UC to USC or go to CC for spring and then apply to transfer?
