What to expect during the real test: As part of the naturalization test, a USCIS officer will ask up to 10 questions about civics (history and government). The officer will choose these questions from among the 100 questions on the civics test (www.uscis.gov/.... You must correctly answer 6 of the 10 questions to pass the civics test.
You will not know in advance which questions the officer will ask. To be prepared, you should study all 100 questions and answers. That’s why we have produced 100 videos, one for each question.
The civics test is an oral test. Certain applicants, because of age and time as a permanent resident, are exempt from the English requirements for naturalization and may take the civics test in the language of their choice. Tips for studying: On the naturalization test, some answers may change because of elections or political appointments. As you study for the test, make sure that you know the most current answers to the questions. Answer these questions with the name of the official who is serving at the time of your eligibility interview with USCIS. The USCIS officer will not accept an incorrect answer.
