Officer only asked me 6 questions First president My US senator President during WWII & great depression President’s party US capital War fought by the US during 1900’s. Reading & writing were also easy. I had not definitions questions asked 🤭 or any documentation required other than my ID, passport & green card. I guess talking to the officer help me to avoid this questions 😅. If you’re interview is coming soon all her videos are for you. You will not go wrong with Jackie!! Mine was conducted virtually. I went into the room at the USCIS office and the officer was on a monitor screen and conducted the interview from there. Just a heads up in case it happens to you. I passed thanks to Jackie and these videos. Thank you!

Hi, Jackie, My citizenship interview is scheduled on June 15, I have been your student for four months since I submitted my citizenship application in February this year. Therefore, I practice with your mock interview video very hard everyday. Now I have a question for your suggestion, if I was asked by the officer, “ Have you ever not filed a federal, state ,or local tax return since you became a lawful permanent resident?”Can I answer like this, “ I no need to file tax return because of my low income. Here you’re my monthly payroll for your reference.”

That's a good reply, but low income is a relative term. It's probably better to say "my income is below the filing threshold." Good luck!

Hi Miss Jackie, I has been a lawful permanent resident and live in California for 2 years 9 months… but i get ready to move to Texas next month So the question is should i go ahead and apply N400 now and then i will just fill out form N11 or should i wait after i move to Texas and live there for 3months. Which one is the best way? Hopefully that you will see my comment and give me an answer. Thank you very much for all your helpful videos!!!!

It's probably better to file in Texas because if you apply now in California, the case has to be transferred to Texas and sometimes, it gets a bit complicated, so I suggest to keep it simple. Good luck with your move and your application!

I don’t recall the interviewer asking me for my ID, passport, and green card. I wasn’t asked to bring those documents. I’m guessing every county is different? Anyway, I’m showing this video to a coworker who’s currently studying the civics test. I’m certain he’d find it helpful.

Hi! I just passed mine today in NYC I didn't have my taxes for 2020 and 2021 as well. There is a no- yes question about taxes on the application. He asked me and I told him the truth. That I haven't filed yet and the reason. He said as long as I didn't get a letter from Irs saying that I owe anything that is fine.( I don't owe anything just got an extension to file later.) If you owe to Irs you have to show them that you have an arrangement with Irs to pay them slowly. Good luck.
