The Aeons should be designed to have interchangeable soul plates. When you add after market plates it makes things thicker than needed.

What all the fuss is about? Well, the Aeons 80 do not come with Sam Crofts' grinding skills. The Aeon 80's tall wheels and frames make some h block grinds and other tricks on the coping more difficult to accomplish, yet still totally possible for the ones with the necessary skill.

You should consider making a 3 wheel Aeon 80 with a bigger H block. You just decide if you want 2 wheels in the front or two at the heel. Could be applied to 58mm skates too. I think the 2 wheel antirockers can be impoved to just having a bigger H block and a 3rd wheel

Or it could be a different sized wheels but flat setup. The two middle wheels could be much smaller and lower to the ground, making more room for the H-block. But it looks like people are afraid of a tall frame, not small h-block. I'm getting my pair tomorrow, will see.
