I haven’t been ice skating in over 35+ years lol. We had a family tradition when I was a little girl where we went to this nice couples tree farm, cut our tree down, went ice skating on their pond and they served us hot cocoa when we were done. I used to ice skate on the creek in my hometown. My skates are now decorated for winter and tied to my red sled I had as a child.

When I was younger, we lived on a farm. Our Dad went to the creek and removed the snow. That was the first time ice skating. We went a lot that year. This is one of my findest memories.

I loved all of these ideas. I never would've thought to use a stocking to make different shapes/types of ornaments/decor. Such adorable ideas! 😍 I've actually never been ice skating myself. I'm disabled (chronic back pain and spinal surgeries), so I wouldn't trust myself to even try. I'd break something. 😂 My balance has actually gotten worse recently (my back is getting worse), so it's probably not a safe idea. I can't regular skate anyway, so 🤷😂.

Being from Michigan, winter sports is our thing, I ice skated as a kid with my friends, my dad even built me a skating rink one year! Then in high school I went on many dates to our city indoor rink!

I love every single project! The three trees are my favorite I think but I do love the ice skate stocking and the gnome. No I've never been ice skating. There's a roller skating rink here so people go there during Christmas a lot. Their lights are really pretty and unique during the month of December. I went ice skating once with my boyfriend and our church group. I had very long hair and my boyfriend told me that he could skate backwards. So silly and trusting soul that I am took his word for. He took my hands and off we went about two feet before we were tumbling down onto the ice. I landed on my back with part of my hair sticking to the ice. We had fun but I ended up with a few hand scrapes and bruises. My boyfriend only had a bruised ego 😂 Love your channel and adorable ideas 🎄

I was fortunate to be raised in a western Canadian Prairie Province. We had a pond near by that froze over in winter. We skated there and we had an outdoor skating rink at school that got flooded yearly at winter for hockey games and skating. Was wonderful. The skates you’ve made from dollar tree are great, as are all your projects. So fun watching your videos ❤

When I was a teenager, many moons ago, the thing to do on the weekends was to go to the arena and skate! Spent many happy hours there. Even tried rollerskating in the summer time.

I've been ice skating once in my life when I was in junior high. We went to Franke Park in Ft. Wayne, Indiana. I'm 70 years old, so that was many years ago. We usually went roller skating at the Roller Dome. Thought we would try something different.

In the first DIY, One could also cut the toe off cutting the kick out vertically and leave the bottom of the stocking and just see or glue the side. The letter would be centered. My OCD was very bothered by the letter being off center at the very bottom. Lol

I went ice skating before but I prefer roller skating. I’m 55 years old now and still go roller skating. I loved it as a kid and still do. I go to the rink almost every Thursday night. I just bought some new skates for 160 dollars. It’s great exercise also. Cute diys. 👍🏻🤗🛼🛼

I ❤ watching every thing u make unfortunately I live in a small country town in Australia and Australia does not have dollar tree so it would be expensive for me to make them but I still love seeing what you do 😊 I was a figure skater (roller skates) when I was younger and tried ice skating ⛸ but just fell on my bum 😊
