Use Ascended Materials to Make Gold While Playing Normally - Guild Wars 2 Gold Tips

Do you have loads and loads of Ascended material and you don't know what to do with it? Look no further! I have here 3 converters that you can use in order to take those mats and make some gold off of it.
Even if you don't have much of those materials yet, the longer you play you will trust me.

You need those mat to craft ascended armors and weapons. Unless you are into raid, ascended gears are hard to come by even if you play strike or T4 fractal regularly.

Once they get their sets though they can use it so they don’t have to just delete and waste everything

Though acquiring asc armor through crafting is expensive compared to other ways I would say honestly. And yes I did craft few ascended armor pieces, then gave up, rather do fractals or drop them otherwise. :)

I just came back to the game after like 10 years and I've gotten 5 ascended things in a week. Not that hard to come by. I also already have thousands of bloodstone dust sitting in the bank

I dont mind dropping everything since its pixels anyways. But looking to just set myself a goal to work on as an incentive to play. Liked the video

If you want to craft ascended gear (which i would say most players want) don't get these convertest, get more bank space instead. You need tons of them and they're later hard to farm. I did the same and now i'm farming these mats and it is a pain in the ass...

Of course once all your chars are equipped go for it. If you just want to farm some money as a new player - once you're done with Path of Fire go for Orichalcum farming for example.

I always deleted this trash and never needed it. Also almost every meta give them, so its not hard to get at all.

i worked on getting the converters but theres one ya need to do a meta in Lake Doric that stopped me dead in my tracks.. i sat in lake doric for a week and not one commander came to run metas,,, its like a ghost town and I can not do it alone.. its never in lfg either., sad camper here.

Ah yes I remember that one. Back when I did it some people still did the Lake Doric leather farm. I’m not sure if that’s a popular farm anymore.

You can only convert so many each day, so I've turned quite a few into bricks, stars and ingots. I still have thousands sitting around on various alts. 😆

That’s a ton of mats! I don’t have the inventory space or bank space for that many mats 😱 I wish we had more of a use for them the daily limit just doesn’t cut it sometimes.

The toon that has all my "eaters' also banks 10 stacks of each .....just in case. Granted, it depends on your playstyle. I'm not doing the metas that drop those mats all the time, so since I have all the eaters, I have no issue staying on top of them.

@@CatDadThings Star is my fave, as you get wintersday gifts from them, so the only passive year-around source of snowflakes besides harvesting tools. Then I use sentient whatever (the one combined from all the others) to eat dragonite and bloodstone at the same time. The only thing that sucks about this process is all the little unsalvagable trinkets you end up with. I combine them in the toilet. Adds just a tiny bit more time to the housekeeping. I rarely use Mawdry and almost never use Herta. Only when some event gives me insanely disproportionate bloodstone

You can make comparable gold by using these in other recipes - utility consumables. You first need to buy recipes for them, either from TP (expensive, ROI ~month) or wait for rotation from travelling vendors (cant remember proper name, unlocked through tyria mastery). But then it is good sink for these. I was crafting these daily few pieces and got like 1-5g. Or you can use them for you, those are quite good buffs. Some aren't profitable, so the video way might still be the only way. :)
