for flavor you can lay those beats down over any 6/8, or 1/2 time shuffle (like Rosanna), massive influence with polyrhythm feel to tunes using this concept!

@@DrummerMartijn Just FYI, when learning this, I find that keeping the BD + HH ostinato at a 4 beat across both the 1/2 time feel then switching to conga, then back and forth helps trick the brain into holding the afro-cuban rhythms with the RH on the CB. Of course the 1/2 time doesn't have the swing feel it should but it allows me to get through the "trickY' part to the conga beat as you called it..
