If you love the look of braided paper you're going to enjoy these card techniques that use designer paper to create twisted ribbon borders.
Patterned paper is easy to incorporate into handmade cards and this technique provides the perfect use for those designer paper scraps. While there's the look of lattice, you'll find that this technique is easier than that. Zigzag strips of to create braided card borders and even card backgrounds. Hi Just watching this 31st Oct 2022 LOVE this technique - instead of putting pencil marks on my card, I scored my card and put the strips corner to corner using the scored marks and the scored marks all get covered as well. GREAT video love Mother and Daughter. xx

These cards are all amazing. My favourite is the dark blue and white card with vellum. The contrast of white against dark blue is really cool. I enjoyed the adhesive tips for the white flower and the sentiment.

Love this idea. I used the idea and created a 12” x 2” border for a scrapbook page. I used two patterns, and the 1/2” markings, and it came out so cute! I can’t wait to show it off at the crop I will be going to Friday night. I had a hard time understanding the directions for the 2nd layer, but by freezing the video, I was able to figure it out. Worked perfect when I met up the top right corners and the bottom left corners at the edge of the 2” wide cardstock.

Cool technique! All gorgeous. I would recommend on the apple card using a hobby blade knife & cutting out the white background cardstock between branches. It would be more realistic plus show off more of your first layer if apples! Great job though!
