Use GitLab Groups To Organize Your Projects

In GitLab, you use "Groups" to help manage one or more related projects at the same time. This allows you to grant access to all projects that are a part of a Group. It also just helps keeping your projects better organized. So I've decided to use GitLab Groups and move all of my DTOS-related repos to a new DTOS Group.

Hey DT, will you write a programming language? Call it Baldlang

I wouldn't name something like that. I wouldn't want to offend those unfortunate souls that aren't as blessed as I am. #dtisnotbald :D

Hey DT! It would be very helpful to make a tutorial on how to build an ISO. Thanks for the great content.

There's a tool for Arch Linux to make custom ISOs: choosing what packages go in your live environment.

If its fully custom, it is not very easy (speaking from experience trying to rewrap the debian iso with packages or making an iso for my Linux From Scratch compiles.) EFI is particularly hard, if you want to, look up xorriso squashfs overlayfs and others

DT rocks 😎 I've got a bunch of really small repos on Gitlab. I've been thinking about streamlining them recently.

Huh does GitLab finally have a dark theme or do you have that always dark extension installed?

Hey, DT! I'm sure this has been asked before, but are there any FOSS programming IDEs/compilers that you'd recommend, or any of DT's fans would recommend? I installed IntelliJ, which is supposed to be a good one but I'm pretty sure it's proprietary (there was a long EULA awaiting me when I installed).

Depends on your requirements... DT seems to love Emacs (and I can see why), but if you arent down learning an entire OS... (neo)Vim is nice, if you like being *experimental* there's also Helix-Editor, a kakoune like modal editor (its build with Rust if thats something you like :p) and much easier to learn than Vim/Vi/Neovim imo. Orrrr you can go VSCodium, its basically VSCode but all microsofts telemetrie is removed. edit: Note that Helix-Editor is still 'early' and lacks the extensibility of the previous mentioned Text editors
