Locals have been run out the area. Campsites for seasonal workers closed down. Historical buildings ripped out and all for the rich that leave it empty for most of the year! That place is being destroyed enough! Bring back the locals.

It is difficult to "enjoy the seaside" when it is common knowledge that the streams and rivers that drain into the sea have been contaminated with raw sewage.

Two reasons I can’t, I’m Brown and racists will judge me on my colour, even though I’m born here and second reason, the English weather is very cold 🥶 u can’t enjoy a beach, with weather like that

If you can't smile through gritted teeth then you aren't truly British.😂😂 The racism is your problem....no one really cares who is on the beach, they are just enjoying it. You are feeling out of place and that is for you to deal with. I have heard people say that black people don't do country walks because the countryside is racist....that is ridiculous. We all feel uncomfortable in new spaces, not just people of a different skin tone.

Sorry to say but Tenerife is 10 times cheaper and from my last experience of visiting the south of England, when they hear a northern accent you might as well be a turd in a pool.
