I have a huge vocabulary but when I need to speak, I start wabbling ☹️ sounds like me! I think I fly away from the things when I only hear them and when I do not see a person. Many thanks for sharing your knowlegde! ❤️

You could certainly adapt these techniques for movies, TV shows, etc.

Hello, these are certainly effective strategies and with regular practice you will make improvements. Reaching an advanced level is dependent on your current level, how often you are practicing, and the methods you're using to practice. To know for certain, it's always best to document your progress or have someone who can provide that input for you.

They certainly can be if you're using an effective practice activity. For example, one that is similar to what you'll find on an IELTS exam.

There are a variety of reasons a score on the exam may be lower than on a practice test, including test anxiety, lack of sleep the night before, lack of preparedness, etc.
