How do I add an OneNote Notebook into Teams without losing the content that is already in the notebook?

Notifications for OneNote in shared situations. Looks like others are also trying to find out how to get notifications when edits are made in a notebook. If you ever discover how to do that, please do a video on it. Thanks for your videos!

Thanks Joel. Yep, I haven't been able to figure this out yet. If I come across a solution, I will share. Thanks for the comments and happy new year!

@@AndyPark365 BTW, I was able to create something in MS Power Automate. It's not perfect but it helps my team. Thanks for your content!

QUESTION: My supervisor shared a onenote notebook with the team, and want to know if there is there a way to setup an alert notification everytime the shared notebook is updated?

Hi - thanks for your question. Unfortunately, I'm not aware of any way to activate notification for when changes are made in shared notes. However, you *_can_* see what changes were made when you go to the note page.

What if instead of adding people directly to the notebook using the share dialog, you added them as members to the teams site instead and shared a link to the tab? Otherwise, you’re breaking permissions right? I could see why you might intentionally want to do that in rare cases, but most of the time, you want to take advantage of inherited permissions IMHO.
