This is one of the best explanations of Stochastics and how to use it....I would only add a short term stoch is best used for sentiment , with the longer term stoch best used to show momentum

I agree with you and the shorter term setting would depend on the type of trader you are. A swing trader would no doubt prefer a slower sentiment change while a day trader may want to cut ties with a trade at the first sign of a change. Great comment...thanks!

Stochastics are great if you know which settings and how to use them. If you add Daily and Weekly pivots, then your trading system is almost complete.

Nice video. When I first started trading I only used line charts and I had no idea how to use indicators. Now I feel like I cannot trade without them. As a scalper the Stochastic Oscillator is very important to me but like you said it works better when paired with the main chart (especially the candle stick). At first I used 5 indicators but now I narrowed it down to three.
