Will Coldplay outperform Left Shark?
Also, a viewer had a great suggestion to use plastic drinking straws in the slots for the toy truck axles. It will allow them to spin easier and eliminate squeaking. This and lots more on this week's Mere Minutes!

Nice special effects making it look and sound like you dropped your fancy new chisels on the concrete Steve! :) The lights look really good and bright.

You're looking a little pink. Might need to try something in the 7200 color range if you can.

Color does seem a bit off, but the white balance looks better. Not sure if it's enhancing detail or if the camera is just better focused. Gotta show off that clean Harry's shave. :P

There are special gray sheets one can buy, to calibrate the white balance of the camera to the environment being recorded in. No need for experimenting ;-) Google for it if interested...

Fascinating. Didn't know until a few days ago that Steve had this channel. This is like a time capsule. @0:57 mentioning of Modern Builds. And of course we can see the "in between" stage of manic Steve and calm Steve 😂 in this video.

I really enjoyed the toy build. Great ideas. I've been involved with BSA Eagle projects for over 15 years and have had numerous toy projects. Usually we do about 300 toys for Salvation Army and a charity housing facility. We've done 2 x 4 toy projects but not like yours!! These are great! You have also been an inspiration to my wife and I. We have been following you well before your Harry shaved face!! We just started a blog/ KZbin channel to provide projects using 21st century technology with historical content. Crafting in the 21st Century. Keep up the great content and entertaining approach to woodworking!!

You've probably got your projects sorted for the next few weeks but I'd like to see you make a cool Christmas gift box - one that would work for almost any size. For obvious reasons haha thanks:)

What kind of LED's you get? They look great! It's always nice to get yourself an early Christmas gift.

I was gonna suggest getting LED lighting when I saw the softboxes and how they block up your shop. Those things are expensive. But it is fun to play around with color temperature and changing the color of the background that way. On my tablet you looked a little cool in this, a couple of 100 Ks up on the lights would probably help to make you look a lot prettier.

Entertaining as always! One addition to the tip of using magnets to help attach the toy truck/trailer; make very sure they are securely attached if you do. Some magnets can be extremely toxic if swallowed, and may be attractive (sorry) to small children.

Actually a smaller light source is worse than a big one, even if it is brighter. It makes shadows look harsh while big lights give you a softer light. The same thing happens when you take a picture with a smartphone using its flash and then compare it to professional photographers who use multiple angled lights with soft-boxes attached to them. You can try to imitate that by pointing them to a white wall/ceiling or hanging some which cloth in front of them. You will see, that it will look much nicer ;-) Oh and about the white balance, for me it looks like the wall is white and your face is pinkish, but that might be just my screen :-D

I think it is interesting that you cover stickers with stickers so you cannot see the first stickers someone bothered to send you. I suppose you get tired of seeing the old ones, so it is a good way to make something old new again. LOL
