Use Stream Deck to control Photoshop, Illustrator, Premiere Pro, After Effects, DaVinci and C4D

So... is it really a time saver or just a bit a fancy way of triggering keyboard shortcuts? I'm doubting a bit.. looks cool, but wonder if i'd really use it in production.

Is it possible to create a button for several effects in after effects? For example a tint effect, a vignette and a color correction all at the same time just by pressing one button. And is it possible to import files by clicking a button? Or is it really just limited on the short cuts?

Currently AE doesn't allow shortcuts for effects but we have developed a workaround and are working on our next release which is exactly that. Press a button and apply any effect to a layer. Hope to release this pack within the month (ton of work!). With this new release I will also show you how you can perform multi-actions of effects with the press of one button.

@@Kurono In the meantime, I use FX Console to have a one click button for several effects. It just isn't connected with steamdeck is all.

So there are not preset categories for Premiere, Photoshop, etc.? Just game capture to twitch. It seems that making anything involving software not on that list is very tedious and time consuming.

Do you prefer touch portal or streamdeck?

Both have their advantages. Touch Portal allows a lot more icons on a screen at one time or allows icons to be of larger size and therefore more legible (as well as being a far cheaper option - if you have a tablet already you can use for this purpose). Stream Deck gives the tactile sensation some artist still prefer and also allows you to operate without looking as long as you remember where the buttons are.

Will this work with other software? I use some of Autodesks software frequently for example...

Stream Decks will work with anything. You just assign a key command to a particular button and when you're working in that application and press the button it will execute that command.

I went to your page on aescripts but did not see the pack for Davinci... did I miss something?

Davinci is not yet available on aescripts but is on our website. We are currently updating the pack and once complete it will be on aescripts.
