The most aggravating part is getting the DJI & seeing an SD card doesn’t come with it. Super aggravating. On the way to the store now lol

The manual says it only support 512gbs but 1tera works perfectly.

I got a Lexar but got the 128GB twice and it says format not supported 😭 i want to cry because getting it locally (I live in Kenya) will just be ridiculously expensive.

Do you have a video on how to format the SD card for the DJI osmo pocket 3? Im thinking of buying a pocket 3 but doing more research since im new to vlogging!

In the setting menue there is an option to format the sd card - really simple

I think the Pocket 3 is honestly the best tech purchase I've ever made. I find myself using it more often than both my full frame camera or my phone. As someone else already said, the formatting is really easy to do: 1) Insert the SD card: Make sure the card is inserted correctly, with the label side facing away from you. 2) Open the settings: Swipe down from the top of the screen and tap on the gear icon. 3) Scroll to format: Scroll down the settings menu until you find the "Format" option. 4) Swipe to format: Tap on "Format" and then swipe your finger from left to right to initiate the formatting process. 5) Wait for completion: The formatting process may take a few minutes. Do not remove the SD card during this time.

Does it have to be 256/512GB instead of 1TB for the Lexar Pro? Just picked up my Osmo Pocket 3 and I can’t wait to have fun with it!

That's what they technically have listed. It's possible that it may work too! I think someone else commented that they used a different configuration of recommended memory card and it still worked. Enjoy it - I LOVE mine.

Thanks for the vid - I'm having the same two problems - with the same cards (from my DJI drones!) - both the Evo 128 and 256GB give me that error and lock up. I'll try the Lexar. Also have the problem of previews not showing up so I'll try your fix. Thanks!

I bought a 256 GB card that says U 3 and XC 1 - the seller says it is Class 1 speed 100 Mb and I have the same issue. I cannot understand which spec my card is missing. I get the error "sdcard speed slow" (yours is sdcard write speed slow if I am not mistaken). I cannot understand what is the missing spec in my card. I do not know V spec but normally, all the information I searched lead me to the understanding that U3 should be sufficient. What am I missing? Can you help me understand?

I use a Samsung Pro Plus 256gb - works fine Btw - DJI suggests the Kingston Canvas React Plus 128gb UHS-II - I only can find that card as an SD card, not a Micro SD 🤷🏻‍♂️

Yeah I just realized that with the Canvas React Plus after someone pointed out it was full SD too. Thanks for the feedback on the Samsung Pro Plus!
