With IHG, if you book 3 nights with points, you get the fourth night free. Not sure if that affects your math at all

You need the points for 4 full nights to do it though. I like where your head is at. Even still, that would only match the 4 nights, not the possible 6 nights with the Chase trifecta or the category 4 night with the Hyatt

Hey neighbor,.. 2024 plans,…Planning on getting the IHG Premier and the Chase World of Hyatt credit cards during first half of 2024. Will continue using Amex Gold and Chase Freedom Flex 5X. Will be putting around $8k in my Amex Marriott Brilliant. And some change 💵 on my Amex Hilton Aspire card. And the icing on the cake is the product change to the beautiful Chase Ritz Carlton card on August 2024. Cheers 🍻

Congrats on the future product change to the Ritz🍻. It’s a marathon. I just received my first Ritz free night cert and will be using it in Feb 24. Those all sound like good plans. The sub for both those hotel cards are worth it but the Hyatt will take longer to secure, make sure you get the full SUB or you may regret it down the line.

$15,000 spend on a Hilton Surpass card would probably earn more Hilton points than spending on the Aspire and you would get FNC once you hit the $15,000 in spend. Probably still fewer total nights, but something else to consider. I’m thinking about getting either the C1 Venture X or the NFCU Flagship card soon. I want a good catch all card that’s also a no FTF Visa. For international travel and Costco shopping.

Aspire provides way more value than the surpass, which is why I have 3. I’m also maxed out on Amex credit cards, they limit you to 5 and I have 5 total Amex credit cards. Sounds like the venture x is a good deal for a catch all.

Yeah that makes the most sense for you. I plan on getting the Venture X just before my next deployment I am a reservist so that way I can enjoy all of it's benefits without paying the annual fee. Thanks to SCRA! @@NobleCredit

Yeah of the big 4 Chase, AMEX, Citi and C1 they are the only one that doesn't waive fees through the MLA. Maybe one day. @@NobleCredit

Hey Noble Credit, what do you recommend WOH, USBAR, or Venture X? I currently have CSR, CFU, CFF, CIU, CIC, & IHG Business Premier as my chase setup. I do use transfer partners with Hyatt in states and IHG for intertional. I'm currently gardening for either Venture X or USBAR as my end game. I want the Venture X card as a catch all card for no FTF. I do shop at Costco a lot, therefore USBAR will be ideally for me. I also want WOH as my end game setup, however I'm not sure holding both WOH & IHG hotel cards are worth it long term.

The WOH card is a keeper card that adds a hotel night every year for you and those points from the SUB will go a long way. The Venture X would probably be the best card though out of the 3. I’d love to know your end game “goal”. For example, my end game goal is to maximize travel by having residual free nights and travel credits, while getting optimal returns on all of my spend to transfer to travel partners or book through portals for maximum available value. But if I have to sacrifice a little spend by not having a 2x card and just a 1.5x card, then I’m fine with that.

@@NobleCredit I have less the 2k on my United Quest until I reach the 60k bonus. I have until February to reach it. Then I'm taking your advice and getting that Chase Ink Unlimited right after. Once I'm done with that I'm debating between the Amex Platinum Charles Schwab or the Hilton Aspire. What would you choose from those two AMEX cards?

Get the aspire first, then the Schwab platinum. You can apply for both on the same day. One issue is you don’t have another Chase card after you get that business ink unlimited, why?

bonvoy boundless (upgrade to Chase Ritz in a year), Chase IHG, Chase Hyatt card to name a few. Stack free night awards so you can take a vacation every year without paying for lodging.

@@NobleCredit Ima have to restrategize. I just really like those United Cash Credits. I'll be able to afford a yearly trip to Australia if I wanted with how much I get in credit between all the cards. 😂
