Prior to watching this particular video, I believed seeing the two of you catch fish was why I enjoyed this channel so much... I was wrong. I enjoy watching y'all cast at a cricket cage just as much as catching fish! I have been pondering this since the video went off. I finally realize its the caring/loving interaction between father and son I find so appealing. I'm an old guy now and haven't been in a canoe or kayak for many decades, but I have kept all of them protected in storage because of the memories I have of my father and I using them to fish, camp, and enjoy God's great outdoors together all those years ago. Speaking of God, Dad went to be with him some time ago. I miss him terribly and desperately wish I could spend one more day on the water with him. Thank you so much for sharing these videos. They are more meaningful to some of us than you may know. God bless you and your family.

@@BigJoeM thanks so much Brother! I’ll be honest and say when I first started on KZbin the goal was to get monetized and hit the “big time”. Man was I wrong! Leaving all these memories here for Colt to have long after I’m gone is worth more than any money they can ever pay me…Lord knows I’d give a million bucks for a video clip from 30 years ago when my grandpa used to take me. I’m glad to know Colt will have these memories to look back on one day. Thanks so much for the kind words my friend…it means so much.

3 years in the 5th grade was killing me!! I lost it! Got to keep that boy humble. When I was a little boy my daddy had me practice casting into a 5 gallon bucket in the back yard. Good times. Y’all doing life right brother!

Great video guys ! Geechees finally gettin back in the banks ! its gonna be interesting to see how much changed with the floods , bunch of the ponds around the river washed out so it probably restocked the river !

What he dosent mention is the swamp spider is the most versatile top water panfish lure on the market. I’ve caught 2inch stumpknockers to 11” redbreast on them. Throws better, moves better, hooks better than any fly/mimic I’ve tried.
