What kinda bait did you use on the Mudfish? Me and my grandson fish a lot. He is in school with your colt. We went to Hamp Mazels lake last Saturday and the Mudfish were everywhere I just couldn’t get them to bite. We’re gonna try Suwannee Canal today. Im a bus driver so I have 19 days now to fish. Good job Georgia boys!!

@GABOYOUTDOORS I fish it basically the same way. The only differences are, I use the Mitchell ultra light spinning reel with 4 to 8lb mono and, I've found that the bullet shaped beetle spin grub,turned backwards, makes the best weight edition for casting that I've found so far. A little pricey but, the Ogeechee averages probably 50 yds wide in my area so, casting from the middle to either bank is no problem at all.

I've fished all over southeast Georgia, my home river being the Ogeechee and a good bit of salt water and if there's anything better than top water redbreast fishin, I have yet to find it. Great work. Love it

From what I'm seeing, the St. Mary's is giving up quality and quantity. What I'm envious of is, the late fall bite. Where I fish the Ogeechee,it's pretty well done with in September, at the very outside.

C-4-5 hooked a record breaker so big the shear weight of the behemoth broke one of your wrist when you tried to lip it for him!!! Yes, this the best story because no one would believe the first two. Now some of you may think one (or all) of the preceding statements are lies, but this is not so. They are simply "artistic liberties" taken with the truth strictly for entertainment purposes only. Then again, the more I think about it.. when you catch fish as good as the GA BOY's, you really don't need artistic liberties. nice trip i got my box of swamp spiders in two weeks ago finally got on the water today it was 24 here in north florida this morning torn into 20 over hand size bluegills miss at least 12 more , yeah im hooked on them after one trip , thanks

Great video boys. Sorry you got hurt. There is no other places I would rather fish than where you were at. I have and old book that I keep a record of what time of year and how many I caught. I have caught them all the way up to February fishing it slow. I have let it set as long as 20-30 seconds before they hit. I'm fixing to start Speck fishing now. God Bless Brother

@@GABOYOUTDOORS I have been catching bass pretty steady, but it is mostly smaller fish. I have been meaning to stop on the causeway and try for strippers on my way to the hunting camp, but haven't tried yet. There were a couple dozen guys fishing today so they are probably running.

Hopefully not. All of our raw sewage goes to a water treatment plant. These canals drain the parking lots and streets of town. I definitely wouldn’t drink it, but then again I wouldn’t take a swallow out of any Georgia River without boiling it first. Appreciate you watching and thanks for dropping a comment!

i have used these on a fly rod at lake blue ridge, allatoona, carters and etowah river up in north ga. they work good all over the state not just black water as anybody that has fished blue ridge and carters lake. water about as clear as it comes on blue ridge and carters..
