When I found this guide, I had a level 47 Brann, ilv. 621 and had never fought Zek'vir before. Was a lot less challenging than I thought on "?" mode. Thanks for giving me the courage to fight them finally. XD

Its a decent farm, under the condition that you only need the valorstones and you want to go solo. The fight takes around 2-3 minutes if you are decently geared and have heroism like me. Ilvl 613 here and its around 2 mins and its not a very easy fight. One wrong move you can be KOed, i died myself a couple of times while trying to farm. Very important to stress that its not a chill activity, its a dps race and its not like you can drag the fight because that equals more mechanics to tackle. In total with the going in and outs i would say around 5 min per perfect run, which is pretty decent. My bran is 32, his healing is more than enough to get me through the fight. If you are dying to it or you are below 600 im not sure how worth it is when you can do stuff like heroics and be done in 10 minutes, pretty much guaranteed without wipes.

i'm rather having a problem how to spend them when capped? i am constantly capped but as a casual with not doing raids and dungeons, don't have high end mats for using the valorstones on improving gear at some point. am I overlooking some way to spend them that makes sense, like getting consumables in exchange or something?

thats 100% a skill issue brother sorry to say. Ret is busted in delves and Zekvir. im sub 600ilvl and i can solo him with ease

Exactly. Nobody needs more Valor stones. Everybody needs the runed crests. Only way you're getting any amount of those is mythic+. It takes FOREVER to try and farm them at 2 per delve.
