I think the perfect picture of a golfer is just the feet and the hands, nothing else is important. But when you do that on the backswing and the forward swing the relaxed body follows behind obediently. But what you did not make clear how little force is needed in the wrist action. Feels like it is well under 3 pounds. All the stuff about shifting your weight forward and pivoting to the left just happens and the follow through is taken care of by the balancing system . Rediscovered this Friday. On Tuesday, I played in a 9 hole net competition and won with a net 29. Think of it this way as your wrist goes to contact it travels 5 inches while the club head travels 5 feet. Putted the same way and that was absolutely magic.,

I was a believer in the “body release” for so long! I had constant problems with face control. Then I tried this, what a difference!! I am still learning this release and it takes time to reprogram my swing and my release but I’m going to stick with it. Thanks for your instruction!!!

Hi Steve! Do you recommend to combine this flapping motion with the wrist turn that you also talk about or to choose either one? Is there a video that talks about combining them?

I had this exact thing going for me last week at the range. I wasn't TRYING to do it, I just felt it, and it made perfect sense. then I tried to do it the other day at the range and just couldn't get the same feeling. but when it was working the last time, pure strikes straight to my aiming points. I REALLY wanna work on this move....the elbow and wrist kind of snapping at the same time, generating nice power.

This “flap” as I call it has literally transformed my swing. Now I just need your swing thoughts for the pitch and chip!

I hope this was an ah ha moment..... hitting backyard balls no longer than 60 yrds and crisp contact and direction. Feels good to feel the control or clubface orientation. Play in 3 days....wondering

Steve, it's been 3 years since you released your Turn the Chest video. A new chest turn video would complement this video very well. Thank you for what you do.

Snap it with the right forearm slightly supinated through impact.
