Finally, allowing a rumbly lowend to groove properly! I often found the Reverb approach a bit static!
@DavidBoura6 ай бұрын
you can use unstatic ghost kicks!

wow such a simple effective way of getting that sound! i had a similar approach as i hated using reverb and delays, i would take a plain sub synth, add some slight distortion, pitch it up a couple octaves and run it into a vinyl or tape effect that adds noise/hiss and then pitch it all back down. sounded pretty similar and you have more control over it.

Nice tip! Kind of reminds me of a clip where Randomer explains how he uses random noise samples to make kicks.

This is another great video from you. I just bought the Schmutz pack to try this out. I’m going to try it out on the Elektron Analog Rytm, since I don’t use computers to make music. I would love to see more videos like this. Maybe even a paid masterclass on hypnotic/raw techno?

Thanks! Some very interesting masterclasses for raw/hypnotic techno are in the works right now. Watch this space for more details soon :)

Maybe that's because you don't have a Discord account yet. Just create an account and click on the link again. Normally the Discord app opens automatically when you have installed it. Most of the time the app opens as a popup but sometimes you have to switch to the app window manually.
