Aren't you tempted to drop everything into a box? Last time I saw oor Nigel play (as Nocturnal Emissions) he just used a laptop & iPad. I very much enjoy having the patch cable & many-knobs UI in a controlled environment, but doing it live sounds very scary.
@djayers14 күн бұрын
Cables! I have issues thanks to my music room having a leaking roof, until recently my dog would pee on things (now pup-barriered) and rodents pee/nibble. This is at home, dread to think of live.

First, track punchy as hell, I don't believe there is a wrong kick , if it works, it works.

46:20 - Robert, your story about waking up at a club on a Tuesday with this kind of very dry, quirky techno made me laugh so hard. But also because I have the same memories buried deep into my brain. 'Shit in a good way' 😂

appreciate you guys doing all of this in English.. but brother Raffaele couldn't get his points across properly and I feel bad for him..
@Robert_BabiczАй бұрын
Why ?
@adrianpiwowarczyk9848Ай бұрын
@@Robert_Babicz I assume no fluent English of Raffaele. When you want to express a thought on a certain topic and you can't find the right words in a foreign language, it is very frustrating and causes a lot of anxiety, this was clearly visible in his body language and facial expressions.

Excellent ! Really great and easy explains. For me, as a non english guy, much appreciated :) Even if I'm not on Ableton, pretty much enjoyed these great and useful tips. Thanks guys.

English is good. Sound is awesome. What you should have done is to record when you made the layers and explain how you think. For example when you EQ out bad freq and so on. This was of course interesting as well.

would love to have a video on differents ways of processing thru busses - whats the differences between using group busses and return and how to bounce them for mixing &mastering stems sesh . - do you use return parallel compression for kick and bass thru arrangement then bounce (glued) together for <stems mix session> or you wait to process those via buss while doing the stem mix ? everything regarding busses and comparing ways of getting to roma :D thanks guys
