I run peppermint in my humidifier. Not sure if it does anything but it smells good and I haven’t seen bugs in over 15yrs. Cleanliness is godliness 🙏

My IPM lately has been a preventive foliar spray of Power Si Original, Power Si Lush, and Power si Control. Use this once or twice a week and stop a week or 2 after flipping to flower

Here’s a DGC question: Is there a difference with pest pressure between growing organically vs hydro/coco with salts? I’ve never used the synthetic methods and the only pest pressure Ive experienced are the seasonal fungus gnat issues. Am I lucky or do organic systems strengthen plant immunity and insect defenses? Why do internet IPM conversations seem to dominate with synthetic growers? Something to consider.

Had a outbreak on cotton fields thrips 2022..The farmers having to deal with them 4 miles away but they have got me twice in last 2yrs..3rd time they win..Anything with OG in the name fell to them..Pineapple skunk saved my ass..Just didn't mess with it..Awful..❤

Green cleaner is good, Athena IPM is also a good one. They are all similar. I switch between sprays and a micronized sulfur that I make a spray out of. Plants love the sulfur, and bugs, mold, pm hate it. I don’t spray in flower. Micronized sulfur is also extremely effective on russet mites as well.

Should i throw my soil out after my , grow in 7 weeks . I had nats bad so bad when I dry backed my pot . They were eating the felt for water every morning 2 days I works with Black fur from the pots all the flooring all around it was bad . So build soil dgr3000 they die came back now clean . So long story short soil is shot 😢😢😮

Get rid of your medium after every grow unless you’re doing living soil. Put about an inch of perlite over your medium and that will stop the gnats cycle.

Leave it in a bag in your shed when it gets crazy hot. It will bake the dirt. Jus try not to water as much. That's why u get them in the first place

I have that loop and a cheap microscope that plugs in to my phone The loop is easy & quick The microscope its a litle bit of a pain in the ass, but its good for takin pics of the tricombs

Diatomaceous earth. A powder you put on the soil surface. You are probably overwatering too.

Why not promote preventive maintenance and other safe options? Why promote unhealthy bandaids and bad growing practices? I thought we were trying to grow our plants perfectly? They say some products are safe but are they really? One guy brought up a good point that everyone should consider at all times, how safe are things when theyre combusted? Im not saying im special but i have never had PM or bugs of any kind. I take that back, but that was after a major hurricane i got PM, no power for two weeks and i ended up abandoning that grow and moving away. Companies cant make money promoting safe preventive stuff or their bottles of poisons wont sell because who wants to spray poisons when there are way better options? Do you know what im talking about? No because it seems like no one knows...easier to buy a bottle and talk about how well it works 🙄. Maybe try promoting safe stuff...oh, thats right, aint no money in that 😂. Hot tip, there are many growers that are dead, full of cancer, breating problems etc because of fcuking around with chemicals and powders. The bat guano guys are a recent example and thats just fertilizer. Does anyone talk about the toxins left over from dead PM or dead mold? Radiation is popular behind the scenes, flower tests great, but what about the toxins from dead mold? RadSource wont even answer that question for me.

I had excellent results With yellow sticky traps, and a all natural product Called mosquito Bits, but you kinda need to use both as one works for adults flying around, and the other works on the larvae stage…😊✌🏽
