Seriously - Jonny is teaching us how to really play some full-on real music. Thanks Jonny! Geez ...... just listening to the exercise part of the video is so relaxing as well. Very nice. Wonderful sound. Outstanding finger control with that brush technique too.

You never know the reasons for people to dislike a video...and it's so easy to do it when you are anonymous. Let's just agree that people have the right to have a different opinion from ours. On the other hand, look at how many LIKED it - you and I are among them!

Johnny, I'm glad I found your site, which is VERY helpful. Ironcially, I've been playing guitar for yeaers, but three years ago began to take it more seriously (noodling takes you nowhere) and now take jazz guitar lessons. I understood nothing three years ago but I'm pleased to say that now I can watch your videos and know what you are talking about. BUT . . . my difficulty is knowing HOW to get accustomed to playing piano, particularly with independent hands. That I haven't cracked. I have reached the stage now where I am confident playing guitar (and, for example, know just how many songs use pretty much the same chord sequence, so 'sounding' impressive is a lot easier than actually 'being' impressive - 'how on earth do you know that song?' etc). So can you point me in the right direction for getting the same dexterity on the piano which I'm glad to say I now (more or less) have on guitar. Thank you once again, A British fan.

If you change the bass, you change the chord. So there are more chords. To make this monotony sound good it is needed a lot of skill on right hand.
