Good video but so far I don't see any video showing that this is a maintainer too ...just charger. To be a maintainer, it has to come back on when the battery goes low again, while it was still connected. Maybe it's not a maintainer. That would be false advertising.

My lights are wrong red is charging green is its charged and yellow is switched connector?

My EverStart battery charger/maintainer just like this one stopped working after only a year. Are they fixable or should I just throw it away?

I probably wont fix it. See, these are electronic/Electrical components that might become unstable if not well repaired or fixed. Personally I dont play around with electrical stuff and if you cant get a certified Everstart tech to fix it, I would rather get a new one. Choice is yours my friend

When I connect both the yellow light turns off but when only negative is hooked on the yellow light stays on

Trying to charge a golf cart battery. I left it on over night(app. 14 hours) and nothing. How long is it safe to leave it charging?

this is a trickle charger (1 amp). depending on the battery size (volts/ampere) the time it takes to charge depends. For example, my car uses a 12v 700amp battery and when i charge it , I leave if for 12 hours. If your battery doesnt charge at all, it's probably dead and you might have to replace it
