@don You wanna put 3-3.5k dust per shipment. Every item has a base value and dust is a diminishing multiplier that isn’t really worth it past 4k+ dust due to how hard and fast it diminishes. Bars > Crops > Ore It seems optimal to avoid sending raw ore, process it and send as bars. Filling up the bonuses triggers bonus loot on the shipment, but you don’t have to trigger the bonus all in one run (though it is optimal) Once you’re fully upgraded I’m pretty sure it’s optimal to full dump your excess into all available shipments rather than holding. Crops and Bars aren’t used for anything other than upgrading so there’s not much purpose in stockpiling them. Use the rare items from shipments to disenchant, but check the DE values and try to filter out low value DEs (there is a huge range)

Just tested this in a bit more depth. It looks like there are diminshing returns on the amount of dust you add. 150 dust is where I'd probably draw the line as best value unless you're rolling in dust and even then its exponentially diminishing returns. For example 10 dust with any shipment appears to increase the value by 151% where as 300 dust only gets you a 238% value increase.

That Thaumaturgic dust, sent with any shipment, will increase it's value (and risk... not sure how that modifies the rewards). The scaling has diminishing returns so it's not worth sending more than like. 15 dust with your shipment, unless you're swimming in it) The type of resource seem to affect the type of reward. I dunno if this is 100% correct, but Ores - runes (and if you want to utilize runesmith, disable your blacksmiths unless you're saving up for some building upgrades, otherwise most of your ores get converted to ingots) Ingots - rares items (and mostly linked, at that. Best shipment gave me five 4-links at once... ofc none of them fit into my archer build but whatever) Food - various currency orbs and occasionally a unique don't have other stuff to test with yet

One thing that i dont get is how the rewards are actually calculated. I was getting decent shipments in the campaign, and now im sending out 30k shipments and usually only get 1-2c per shipment. Doesnt seem worth the effort atm unless im missing something. I guess next step is to get max level shipping guys and try out a 100k shipment

just dropped a video talking about all the mechs: kzbin.info/www/bejne/emGzeYGPm9NoZrM but to disenchant level up your town base (in the tavern) and it will unlock the ability to build the disenchanting station and start throwing items in there
