Let's make a cute bag with leftover scraps *
Any size is fine!
It's easy to make*
⌘ If you want to make it large enough to fit an A4 size book, here is the guideline for materials ⌘
◻︎Bag body...70cm x 28cm 1 piece
◻︎Handle...55cm x 8cm 2 pieces
◻︎Lace...56cm (width 3cm or more) 1 piece
⌘ How to make
① Cut
②Mark the position where the handle will be attached
③Fold the handle parts into quarters with an iron.
④ Sew the handle
⑤Baste the handle to the back of the bag
⑥ Sew the lace (← wear two pieces to the width of the bag in advance) on the back side with a seam allowance of 5mm.
⑦Turn the sewn lace inside out
⑧ Stitch the lace again with a 1cm seam allowance from the front side.
⑨ Sew from the outside of the bag to the sides with a 5mm seam allowance.
⑩ Turn the bag inside out and sew the sides with a 1cm seam allowance. Turn it over and it's done!
