i seldom raced pro tree,but had about 4 perfect lights at two different tracks with my 73 duster, the battle is mostly at the tree..i loved takin tracks money with my 73 rallye challenger,also 77 aspen r/t, very slow,and 66 belvedere,and yellow 73...340 duster...and a couple others, most dont know how to cut a light or drag race,or deep stage etc....i stage normally...mostly...

That’s definitely a hard way to lose a race. I personally don’t like the bracket racing just because of what happened to you. It’s definitely a skill set to be learned and you really have to know your car. Nice run though.👍👍

Question: is a hellcat faster than a scatpack when using the black fob? Hellcat= 500 hp vs scat= 485 hp, with hellcat being slightly heavier??

Videos on this all around. Motor Tube has a good one. Basically neck and neck scat pulls slightly when hellcat is on black key. Hope that helps. Owned two hellcats myself, have never used a black key, damn near lost my last one in the back of the safe because its worthless HAHAHA

Sounds like you are sand bagging. Run the fastest and you will be consistent. In bracket racing, consistency wins the bag

Not when you run an ET bracket. He ran a 10.50 index class. If your car runs a best 10.56 and you're in a 10.50 index, you have no chance to win. You win an index class with R/T, 60', and sandbagging. Run out to 1000', judge where your opponent is, then let off. Stay on throttle, "WOP him," use your horsepower to draw him closer to you. I do agree, no hard braking at the finish.
