Absolutely love looking through old machine shops for deals and bargains. I could spend hours in this big warehouse! Thanks for sharing this video🙌🏻

Can’t wait to start my own machine shop! Been staring at machine shop auctions for years. Someday soon I hope! Love these life videos! Thanks!

What a great day out! Any trip to look at tools and equipment is a good one, especially with a stop for food along the way. That equipment somewhat outclassed my 400mm hydraulic metal folder and 305mm roller/folder/shear!

Wish you and your family a Merry Christmas and Happy New Year!!
Fascinating. I think that there are shops similar to this all over the world. It is a universal obsession.

Visiting machine heaven. Problem is to have a workshop, that's big enough for. Wishing to see your fascinating country with own eyes....

I have so many questions. How much was dial gauge and the rotating centre? Were they good value? Did you buy the bandsaw in the end? If so, how much did you pay for it? Was it difficult to bargain with the old guy? He seems tough to deal with. Will it be cheap to fix? What is in Japanese ramen? Is it healthy eating? Is it expensive? In Britain we might stop at a roadside café for a bacon roll and a cup of strong tea, or these days more likely a McDonald’s. You appear to still have more privately owned cafes serving traditional foods. That is good. You also produce most of your own food in Japan. That is essential to survival as a nation and as a people. Where I live used to have hundreds of market gardens, small farms growing fruit and vegetables for local markets and shops. Now there are virtually none left. Our best supermarkets for quality and value are German: Aldi and Lidl. 1/3 - 1/2 cheaper than main supermarkets. Every country has its pros and cons. Right now Britain is like a draconian police state, a Covid dictatorship in which most businesses are forced to close down, and we can be fined hundreds of pounds for walking in the park without a mask! I notice that things are not so bad for you. I’m glad. Peace

“Middle aged man’s department store”. It would be the reverse with my wife. “Honey, hold my wallet while I try this band saw” 😂
