This bus is ex-Arriva Bus (A DB-Company) and the Gearbox (Transmission) is Voith. Wrightbus Pulsar Gemini 2 with a Voith Gearbox looks the Stagecoach one, I like it.

0:47 it’s a db300, sb200’s have a lower pitched idle

Remember these weren't full integrals still a VDL/DAF chassis despite Wrightbus saying its an integral also has a Wright dashboard instead of a VDL/DAF one a prototype DB300 was used for an MCV body.

Yes I wondered why he described this as integral. They're not. They were just a different (cheaper) engine/chassis offering to the Volvo Geminis. Still Wright body on 3rd party chassis. Not integral.

The first camera view of you driving off wasn't really perfect because every time you turned the bus in corners the camera would move to different position and not be centred and the audio kept on cutting out in random moments of the video, I would suggest just keeping the best camera views in the drivers can and no where else thats why I subscribed for.

The audio cutouts made me suspicious. Were they cut out because the vehicle was making strange noises, and he didn't want to affect the saleability of the vehicle - or they wouldn't let him borrow buses any more 😄

Unless you're particularly a Cummins engine fan, I can't see any advantages of this over a Volvo Gemini 2. The interior (and particularly the drivers cab and controls) seem to age far worse in these Pulsars, compared to the Volvo-chassis Geminis.

Firstly, comparing it to a Gemini of this age would be on a B9TL chassis and not a B7L which the only deckers of that type that actually made service were built by Ayats and were open top, not only that but this is not a Pulsar, it’s simply a Wrightbus Gemini 2 It’s a DB300 not an SB300 It’s 14’5 not 14ft

Same basic Cummins engine might be slight differences though compared to those used on Trident 2/E40D chassis exhausts are very throaty on DB300s even though Euro 5 E40Ds also sound throaty.
