She is so amazing, and so is her horse. It just blows my mind how in a matter of a few weeks last year, she not only won this class, but also the Randolph College/USEF National Junior Jumper Championship AND the ASPCA Maclay Finals. This girl can do no wrong. She just makes it all look so easy.

In the first round, he was crooked coming to the second jump. In the second round, she turned right before, I think the third jump? And put him a little off balance. After jumping the wall, he rushed a little because he was a little of balance and needed to regain it again. All in all they did really good. It amazes me how they can jump with little visible impulsion, and it looks so smooth, like the horse just raises it's legs to clear the jumps. And the flying lead changes are hardly noticeable!

In the third round, he was crooked several times, and did some bucks, as if something back there (could be hips, back, legs) was bothering him, but they did well.
@katherinekinnison88999 жыл бұрын
Emily Iannuzzi the "buck" in the third round was him doing a lead change to the counter canter with impulsion :)
@emilyiannuzzi71169 жыл бұрын
Haha, I didn't even notice that! I've never seen a lead change look like that before. Cool. Sorry, my bad. I do combined training and horse trials, so lead changes are usually almost unnoticeable. Do a lot of lead changes look like that?
@annikablock61776 жыл бұрын
Emily Iannuzzi most don’t, that was a perfectly acceptable more sassy lead change haha
