Hi, Matt. I have a small correction but one that is nonetheless important to me. At 7:54 when you're talking about Mary Anne's mother tongue, you pronounced Gaelic as gay-lick /ˈɡeɪlɪk/. Just FYI, when talking about the language of the Scottish highlands, it is more widely accepted to pronounce it as gal-ick /ˈɡælɪk/, as /ˈɡeɪlɪk/ is reserved for Irish and Manx Gaelic. Also, surnames derived from (Scottish) Gaelic patronymics are more likely to be rendered as Mac (with an a) in English as opposed to Mc which is used more often for names of Irish origin. You could also (just if you really wanted!) have given the names in Scottish Gaelic, which in this case would have been Màiri Anna NicLeòid, with the surname MacLeòid for male family members. Being charged doesn’t mean one is guilty. It does mean that there’s enough evidence to put forward be judged by your peers. To be noted: Being an opponent in a political election doesn’t give one a get out of jail card for alleged crimes that evidence leans towards a possible conviction. I’m sure that we all agree that one should not be exempt from prosecution for alleged crimes, just because one is running in an election. That would lead anyone running in election to commit a crime, knowing that his crimes can’t be prosecuted. Is that how we want our justice to work?

Her mother belongs to the German minority in Slovenia and they had to hide it too. Her parents were expelled to Austria after WWII but came back to Slovenia to help prevent an eventual famine with there ancestral skills in farming and became number 1 onion producers I all of Ugoslavia. They were legendary for their generosity and kindness. Amelia and Victor love story is also unusual and complicated, my girlfriend is from their home town and she basically said that Melania married another version of her father but due to some crazy circumstances her father chose love over money at a difficult cross road in his life but he was the king and center of attention of the town and whenever he enter the bar people stop to look at him.
