ML looks at the heart not at the exterior it is why he is such an ideal ML...I do not remember exact spot he say this but it is at the beginning of drama found it at 21:50 he says " I'm different from those who only look at appearances I value the heart" this is in response to FL asking how he knew it was her once her scars and acne where removed when everyone else did not recognize her . Best line of whole drama and a great sentiment

Love this ML & the FL, both did a great job...was looking for the ML's rl gf(like her in FL roles as well) but trying to picture her as the FL here and am glad this FL was cast.. this FL looks younger & more innocent but has some lethal moves👍 Actually enjoyed this drama & how the ML chased after her when she was "ugly" & didnt seem surprised when she turned pretty...shows how much he really likes her😊 I liked how strong the FL was but would have liked to see her be more tender/loving towards the ML...always a + when the MIL is supportive of the FL🤗

Poor bai ling.. He just has a pure soul to express what he think and react about the situation but it made qin shiyan get irritated 🤣🤣 I finally see this ML in this lovely character. I am tired of seeing him with a unreasonable domineering and fiercely ceo but actually he's just a clown for the evildoer. Here i like to see how desperate he is in chasing the girl he love and how jealous he is when finding that qiao ying had confessed her love to his cousin, qin yue. His bad mood is my happiness 😂😂 And i also like the character of FL. She's a badass and how she get revenge of those evils in excellent.. Btw shiyan's mom is so funny. Qin yue reported her in hoping to get her away from qin family. But when this mom found out that xiaoying is his son saviour, there is a plot twist. She's happy and cant wait to meet her. Even she prepare her beauty to welcome her and accept her as her daughter in law.. What a cute mom in law ❤

Hahaha this drama is so funny! FL was such a badass, she was kicking and beating up everyone in front of her haha I love you, girl! I love ML being in love with her ugly appearance, and I love ML's mother who didn't get deceived by SFL and even used her to make ML and FL be together! So many smart people! The dumb ones are the villains. The scene with the school guys that were beaten by FL and the school director drinking tea because he didn't care at all as ML was totally biased by FL! The only annoying thing is FL asking ML if he liked her or that body, are you stupid? He met you only when you were reborn, he loved you besides your ugly appearance, of course, he loves the inside of you, not that body. I usually do not like this kind of plot because I think it is not fair to the original person but I liked this one because the original one was ugly but she kept living, she never gave up, and she tried to have the guy she loved, she didn't let her sister bully or deceive her, unfortunately, she was not strong enough and it was the reason why she died, but he fought, I am pretty sure she is happy to see the bad one's downfall even if she is no longer there. Unfortunately, no kisses, maybe because of the age difference such a shame as both were so cute together.

I hope she was of age to be dating a man of his age. At least they kept the PDA and other things to a minimum. It's the first time a fighting damsel was able to keep her intelligence and skills all the way through the script. She was bullied and she had to fight off some male terror, buy thankfully not in the same way other FLch has had to. They balanced her skill in protecting herself and still found ways for him to be a little hero so his fragile ego wouldn't be butt hurt (if only other writers/directors was able to do this. MLch didn't feel diminish in any way even though he was a dandy in love. He felt put together with humor, style, intelligence, strength, boyish charm, pride, silliness, mischievousness, and insight. I don't know if it was her supposed age and HS setting that kept the attacks light, with no attempted grape (I don't know if the car situation counts) or FLch kidnapping, but I am smiling seeing some newish scenes. There wasn't a lot picking her up, being pushed up against the wall, and overall she didn't feel imposed upon (she had autonomy). I liked the way they crafted their interactions as well. It is a LB production so I expect all the little missteps, script flaws, and scene errors, but it was still decent.

Even though they looked like high school classes and had uniforms, she mentioned college/university at some point so I think she's in her early 20s. I just can't figure out how he does his job but still manages to run to the school every day!

@@heatherwanderer777 I thought it was going to college after. It's one of few that I've listed as willing to watch again so I'll confirm and change my comment if needs be. I can't expect them to respect the natural order of things like a CEO having to run a company when they don't even call cops when something like kidnapping happens. They aren't good at writing/performing a balanced story at this level, plus their audience don't care for that. They want the over exaggerated drama that cuts out actual storytelling. Hyperbolic repetitive scenes are preferred. I liked it because both were prominent in the story without taking advantage of her being the female.
